Science and Metaphysics: Friends, Enemies, or Passing Acquaintances?
Abstract: It is often assumed that metaphysics, as a branch of philosophy, is either irrelevant to or in conflict with scientific accounts of the world such as those offered by physics. I will argue that this is a misunderstanding of what metaphysics is and how it should best be done.
