Teaching Professor

I received my Ph.D. in 2012 from the University of Notre Dame. Since then, I have held research positions at the University of Geneva, the University of Neuch√Ętel, New York University, the University of Gothenburg, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. My current research mostly focuses on the following three topics: (i) non-causal explanation in metaphysics and the sciences; (ii) the metaphysics, epistemology, and logic of identity, essence, and individuation; and (iii) the nature of existence. I am also interested in various logical and metaphysical issues that arise in classical Hindu and Buddhist thought.
