Course Description

01 (Leftow) This course surveys philosophy in the “high” Middle Ages- roughly 1200-1400. The focus will be on issues in metaphysics and philosophy of religion. Authors discussed include Maimonides, Gersonides, Crescas, Aquinas, Duns Scotus, Ockham, and possibly Averroes.
